All Staff Weenies Get an Immediate Migraine

I don't care what your politics are - if you earned your PPT Ranger tab that nervous tic under your left eye should start about ....
"There will be 200 new slides arguing the connection between more extreme weather and climate change," Trewin Restorick, chief executive of the event's UK partner Global Action Plan, told Reuters on Monday.

"There will be a full-on assault on climate skeptics, exploring where they get their funding from."
Assault? That's the right word.

Good googly moogly - only the insane thinks that they can win an argument with anyone by making them watch a 200 slide PPT presentation. That is just abuse.

When the wall fell at the end of the Cold War, neo-Marxists needed a new flag to rally around and found it with the GW junk science agenda. It had all the things they love: Anti-capitalism, anti-growth and above all anti that great satan the United States.

Funny though how the AGW is all based on junk science. For example: CO2 makes up 390 parts per million of green house gas. Of that 390 only 7pc is man-made.

CO2 follows temperature. Not the other way around.

The AGW theory is disproved by existing evidence. Not that this matters to those on the left or even the gullible on the right or elsewhere.

Right...and I'm sure Mr. Restorick will be equally forthcoming with the funding sources for the pro-AGW/Climate Change/etc. crowd.

((crickets chirping))

Ditto what Eric Palmer said.  Green is the new red.

Yea look up Ostia. Its the port of Rome. It used to sit at the mouth of the river tiger but the silt built up because the city was abandoned and the (OCEAN LEVEL DROPPED).

Green has been the new red for awhile. Even the creators of Green peace have said that.

Hey, don't knock it.  It got the Goracle a Nobel Prize and an Oscar and he didn't even do the slides, he just read them off.

This 200 slide PPT can be reduced to 3:

Slide 1, title page
Slide 2, "I'm right, if you disagree with me I will ruin you through politics and a public smear campaign"
Slide 3, Solicitation for funds to continue delivery of the presentation

But none of that sciency stuff where you demonstrate the skeptics are incorrect.  Hmmm.

This makes me want to employ the rear naked choke learned when I received by PPT SEAL training.  I also have the stab, stab, twist, stab learned from my time around SWOs.  Oy vei!

Will there be a sunspot Slide?  (We really need to get on top of that sun.  It's done what it wants for far too long.)

You'll note that they are attacking the 'supply lines'.  This is normally done when you can't "assault" (note, *there* word choice) the questions they raise.

I *hate* finding the typo after hitting "enter".  "...(note, *their* word choice)..." ;)

Let's see if the promoters send thousands of greenshirts into the streets to round up the global warming deniers, send them off to reeducation camps in isolated locations, and then force them to stand at attention for hours on end while chanting in unison, "There was no Medieval Warm Period  .... There was no Medieval Warm Period ..... There was no Medieval Warm Period ....."

DB,

The question is how many of our current generation of kids even know how to play that game or the Dots and Boxes, Mad Libs (or its older named version Consequences), pencil wars (seeing whose pencil was stronger by whipping it at a friends pencil), or some other time waster in class when boredom hit hard. The road of good intentions has robbed our children of their imagination in my mind.

How many people want to see if we could play Buzzword Bingo with this assualt on our senses?

Silence, heretic!  Pay no attention to that giant fusion reactor, as I'm sure it has zero effect on the planetary environment.
