stopped into the materinity ward on my way out this morning.
counted nine new lives just arrived.
Tiny Tim had it right: God bless us....everyone.
I don't have the words to express my sadness, my anger. That man wanted to live so badly. I also don't have the ability to ever forgive, EVER, EVER. And will never.
Anyone who can watch that and not cry a little, well, I feel sorry for them.
Never forget, never forget.
No words.
I know where I was. I know where, if the orders issued to me had been followed to the letter and not later modified by my reporting senior, where I was supposed to be that morning.
I have little stomach for all the fluffy words of reconciliation, understanding, “see it from another perspective” and the like. We were deliberately attacked in an act of war. By people bent upon doing evil. The actual instruments are now mostly dead or ineffective. There are others who are being hunted. And there are others who set the wheels in motion, by proxy. Perfumed princes, who sit in indolent luxury in faraway places, placated and comforted by the unwillingness of some of our own citizens to do what needs be done. A pox upon their very souls.

Let us never forget. May God Bless America!
Mike, I'm with you. It makes me sick to see Obama in a homeless shelter saying that he's doing his part to commemorate the attacks on 9/11. Really? National Day of Service?! What crap is that?! That is Martin Luther King Day, not 9/11. 9/11 should be a National Day of Action. Learn how to become an educated civie. Learn CPR, learn first aid, learn how to recognize an IED, learn what you are supposed to do in an Active Shooter situation, learn how to actually REPORT something suspicious instead of just wasting time. Learn how to be a citizen, not just a civilian. Learn how to shoot a weapon, get your concealed carry permit. So many things to do to GET READY. And we waste the opportunity to further a bullshit democrat leftist agenda.
This is what fear in the face of certain death sounds like. It is totally understandable. Now look at Michael Murphy, read his transcript as he is taking round after round, mortally wounded, calling in QRF support for his ambushed and shot up squad in a clearing that is completely exposed. I work to avenge both men's death. I feel sorry for the men who died in that office. I am awed by Murphy.
uncouth?
no mike, you did just fine.
c
SG - off topic. Do you have a link to Michael Murphy's transcript?
Thank you.
not on UNCLAS.
There were three major "service projects" that I heard about here in Boston
1. Cleaning/planting flowers at Mission Hill School (poor neighborhood)
2. Putting together care packages w/ Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund (http://www.massmilitaryheroes.org/) for deployed Troops
3. Labeling, covering, bar coding donated books in Boston Public Schools
One of these things is not like the others.
OK - thank you. I've read L.S. but that is a topic for another day.
We just returned with the Cub/Boy Scouts & K.o.C. from a non-denominational service (Catholic/Protestant/Hebrew) where after I explained to my son more on the Evils of the world and some of the people in it. And that it is importnant to know and understand history so as to have better perspective when it starts to rhyme again.
Ten years ago, my son, just an infant, was in my arms when the second plane hit. Today he gave respect for the fallen and serving. Afterward, he followed that with questions and wanting to understand more.
Soon we'll discuss the sheep and the sheep dogs. I may be of the sheep but I can see and respect the sheep dogs and have the understanding to know the difference.
Thank you.
The dawn over Manhattan this morning.
Let Us Never Forget...
Outlaw Mike,
We have in this country entered the age of the graceless. Where trite and meaningless gestures are now fawned over as acts of true patriotism. And those who express anger at the Muslim extremists who attacked and murdered three thousand innocent Americans are labeled as extremists themselves.
We had better shift ballast, or we are a society that is on the verge of capsizing from a massive shift to Port.
Well put! BZ
Awesome reply! I get intense personal satisfaction every time I see an article titled something to the effect..."Predator strike kills XX enemy combatants". I only hope that their deaths were not instantaneous just like the guy in the WTC making the 9-1-1 call. And I also hope that all others engaged in similar terrorist activity live their lives in absolute fear that their number is coming next. Though it shouldn't need to be stated, their is no such thing as innocent civilian deaths either...hang out with the bad guys and die by the same sword that they do!
