Oh hai, 6th Fleet blue eyed devils

Noted.
The Chinese naval ensign, rarely seen far from Asian waters, has been flying this month in a region of the world that has caught few glimpses of the expanding People's Liberation Army Navy: the Mediterranean Sea.

Two Chinese warships, the destroyer Guangzhou and frigate Chaohu, docked Monday morning in the Greek port of Pireaus, where, according to the official Chinese news agency Xinhua, they were cheered by about 200 Chinese nationals on hand for the occasion.

It turns out the 200 Chinese nationals were already manning the rails, but hey, they still cheered. :)

I wonder if they just used the same cheering section from the World Cup?

...and the US Sixth Fleet responded by establishing a "PLA Navy Desk" at it's headquarters which will be headed-up by a one-star admiral and a staff of 50 all of whom most recently were assinged to JFCOM.

That would be "FLIED LICE...."

They keep them by the fried silkworms and scorpions.

It would seem they intend to go where we are. W should, perhaps, bring back the UNITAS cruises around So. America.

I have the feeling the Filapinos are going to regret kicking us out of Subic and Clark before things are over.

Hmmmm, I wonder if they plan to visit Turkey or Israel next - that would be a quite indicative of their status there...

I have a feeling that one visit to Palma and these ships won't be leaving due to a lack of a crew.
