Sunday "Funnies" my well-chewed Gator "tail". At least I have the consolation that Alabama lost to the Old Ball Coach (and if you don't know, you don't know).
You know Phib, this could run afoul of anti-bullying laws.
Only a 'Nole could rub salt on a wound like this...
Oooh, that's mean. Byron, the rest of us still love you. And if it's any consolation, I think you've got the best coach in college football. You guys will be back.
Oh, and if the CDR went to FSU, congratulations on your upset yesterday.
I generally root against both of these teams, but LSU leaves a particularly nasty taste in my mouth. #1 for Florida blows the outside containment; part of his job is to make sure that the ball gets kicked. Then, not to be outdone by his last screw up, he blows the coverage over the middle and his man catches the ball romps down to the 3. Go Ducks!
The Old Ball Coach was once coached by the Old Ball Coach.
I am looking forward to November 27th
GO GATORS!
That was a nail-biter! My UGA-schooled (undergrad and Law) wife informs me that it is (one of) my sacred duty(s) to cheer for anyone playing the Gators. Being one who went to a non-famous school, I just enjoyed the tense ending to the game :)
I've always said, that for a Florida coach to keep his job that there was only three teams he had to beat: Georgia, Tennessee and Florida State :)

<p>I know the big concern was it being an incomplete pass but I'm surprised the commentators didn't focus on this rule.

Not a bad day on the gridiron:
UF loses, FSU wins
USAFA wins
U$C loses
...but...
My Bruins got stomped by Cal. I really wish Neuheisel would decide which team is gonna play each week -- the one that clobbered Texas, or the drones that lost to *both* Bay Area schools...
