Belgium's rotten soul

The Dhimmi Socialist mayor does not want a peaceful demonstration on 911 against the Islamization of Europe. The "protesters" gather for a static gathering of ~200. The police move in, grabbing nut-sacks and violently going after middle-aged politicians in business suits and ties doing press interviews.

If I was Flemish and on the fence on if I was going to want to support succession of Flanders - this would be the last straw.

Please pay a visit to Michelle, The Brussels Journal, GatewayPundit, and Gates of Vienna for more. Also, via No Pasaran, we are reminded that freedom as Americans know it is rare...and easily lost to those who claim "authority:"
The head of the Council of Europe - a mainly human rights watchdog based in Strasbourg, France and not an EU institution - branded the protesters bigots and said they were a threat to Europe's values.

"It is very important to remember that the freedom of assembly and expression can be restricted to protect the rights and freedoms of others, including the freedom of thought, conscience and religion," secretary general Terry Davis said.
