Oh, that Socialist influence ....

One of the podcasts that I subscribe to is John J. Miller's
Between the Covers, a audio-blog over at NRO where he interviews writers. Great stuff.

Last month, he interview the author of
DUPES: How America's Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century, Paul Kengor. Paul reminds us of something important - listen to the interview here, but this is the pull quote;
JJM: What is the connection between Frank Marshall Davis and Barak Obama?

PK: Yea, Davis was indisputably a mentor of Obama ... he talks about him very frequently in the book
Dreams from My Father, and by the way only identifies him as Frank .... he is the only character in the book whose last name wasn't given, which is peculiar when you consider how much Obama talks about him. ... in the 1970s Obama's maternal grandfather thought he needed a male role model and introduced young Obama to ..... Davis, someone who was a Leftist radical. He was someone who offered advice on college, on women, on politics; this is all Obama's own words.

... look at
Davis's FBI file just released via a FOIA request, read his articles in the Honolulu Record ... this guy was a hardened Communist.
Now imagine if Sara Palin's female mentor as recommended by her grandmother was a member of the US Nazi Party - and Palin spoke so warmly of her and her influence to this day on her ideas and thoughts? Would that have gone unmentioned in the election?

Well, garbage in - garbage out.
Here is your result.

Yup.  This is what happens when the people who are supposed to do the investigating absolutely refuse to report anything that might be damaging to their favored candidate.  Thirty reporters rushed up to Alaska to go through the Palin garbage cans, while conservative blogs were the only resource that the public had to learn about Obama's background.

Is the chart supposed to show us that Frank Davis mentoring Obama caused the 2008 financial crisis and the resulting recession?  Did Frank Davis have a connection to Hank Paulson too, or was TARP secretly Obama's idea?
