I was in the Khaki smoking sponson off Hangar Bay 1, under the LA. Saw the S-3 XO go into the water after he punched out.
I was on the USS Stout DDG 55 in company with you.
My friend and the former CO of VAQ-136 was in the same Q squadron and was sitting behind the JBD of Cat2 when he watched his friends crash into the S3.
