Just prior to the Miramar airshow this year, the San Diego Union Trib had an announcemnet of the Blue Angels airshow coming up. What did they use as a graphic? You guessed it...the Thunderbirds.

The dishonor rendered to our hallowed air dale warriors by the Diversity Industry is reprehensible. Additionally, they act as thieves in the night to female aviators everywhere, insinuating that they have no claim to the heritage of aviators that came before them just because of their gender is disgusting. It is something that the Diversity Clowns are constantly preaching.

Speaking of NEX fail, I've been out of the Navy for a few years now and have changed addresses; however, the NEX Christmas circular SOMEHOW found my mailbox this November.

The NEX carried a singing card for several years (it played "Anchors Aweigh") that read "Greetings from the United States Navy" over a picture of the TS Royalist, a British Marine Society and Sea Cadets sail training ship, with the Blue Ensign plainly visible.
Or if you want to spend $8 to $10 more for a DVD than you would at Amazon.
They've probably been preoccupied trying to clear the "Global Force For Good" sweatshirts off the shelves.

The George, though a IJN plane like the Shinden and Kikka, like them was never a carrier plane and most likely could not have been modified into one without severe penalties.
Its pre-incarnation, the Rex, was a float-fighter though and probably could have been operated from a seaplane carrier.

If we'd put the same people who track down alumni for the average college alumni association on the hunt for Bin Laden, he'd have been toast in Dec 2001...
Of course the real question is...what country was the t-shirt made in?
a little bird tells me nex hq caught the error back in february and the p-47 shirts were recalled. nasni nex somehow missed the memo.
My alumni association had only lost a handful of graduates by the time of my 5th year reunion....and they wanted the rest of us to turn in the miscreants if we knew where they were hiding!
Yeah, if he's had a subscription to TV Guide we could have nailed him. Or had just once talked to someone from the membership committee of a Chamber of Commerce.
