Faced by greedy developers and an arrogant architectural establishment that despises classical design, it requires the occasional influential voice to stand up to them. Let us hope that on this occasion his voice prevails and London ends up with a development to rival that of Wren.Bingo. The modern architectural establishment is infested with people who don't care about the context of the city they build in, it is all about them and their desire to snub their nose - with material that is both cheap and non-resilent - at everyone else.
