Gen. Hagee - the full story

Ignore your initial feelings (an "oh no" sigh if you are like me) from the Drudge link to the CBS Interview, "Outgoing Marine Commandant: We Had No Plan For Post-Saddam Iraq..."

No, be brave and smart. Watch the whole thing. Reason number 438 why I stopped watching CBS news back in '88. Spin, spin. If they would just stop grinding their left handed axe and report .... geeezzz ... there is plenty of great story there without trying to score political points with friends and co-workers.

What you have is CBS going back to over and over again is what I continue to see as the "Fiasco-ification" of discussion of the Iraq war and where we go from here. Everyone wants to go over, again, Phase IV talking points from Rick's partial story book
Fiasco ... as if 2004, 2005, and 2006 never happened. This is 2006 for Pete's sake! Like bitching about being caught with our pants down in Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, Kasserine Pass, and the fiasco of Operation DRUM BEAT in '41/43 as we just finished taking Iwo Jima in '45.

Watch the whole thing. I would love to see the unedited version.
On a more positive note, here is his 231st Birthday message.
