One of the big "never again" takeaways was that our senior leaders cannot let the Fleet get caught in a burn-out death spiral of decreasing funds and increasing requirements. We did some of this "do more with less" dishonesty in the 1990s and it was ugly enough then. Along those lines - I do not like this at all from the new CFFC's Vision & Guidance.
For the foreseeable future, our operating environment will be defined by four predominant characteristics: (1) decreasing resources, (2) increasing operational demands,... and your response as a leader is what?
