Well the upUS Navy stopped using Lead Base Oaint in 1996, which would have made Cdr. Michael William Brannon, USN the first of the post 1996 Rust Navy Commanding Officers or Cdr. Charles Ferguson...

How about for the period actually under discussion in the article? When that picture was taken. I'm guessing the ship didn't look like that when it came out of the builder's yard, so maybe that guy...

Oh.My.God. Phib, that was just wrong...you shouldn't get Skippy all excited on Christmas Eve!!! :)
Roflmao. Did you see the little skippy's face at the end of the video? Finally so much is explained. Poor skippy.
Well, as long as we are posting Christmas videos, here's a little Bach for you people: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPeVIuRjUi4 Bach can make Badgers cry, it's so beautiful
Amy Grant can do it to, with Breath of Heaven, the Nativity, as seen by Mary. who was only arounf 15 or so. In the video, I love the light that floods the stable, after The Birth, sort of a BRAVO ZULU, Kid, from the Supreme Admiral of the Universe. i also like the look of awe on the faces of the Magi, perticularly the last one:

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL ON THE PORCH!
I keep losing the keys to the handcuffs.
Shipmate. That is why you need to keep a key around your neck on your dog tag chain. That always works for me... I mean one of my friends. Yea, one of my friends. Hey where's the eggnog?
Scott, thanks for the clips. You're a good badger. Sublime... just what I needed.
I sit here on a government computer forcibly seperated from my Constitutional Right to debauchery. Arrghhhhh!!
Merry Christmas all!!!
Ummm...this nice Catholic girl is absolutely NOT clicking on anything that is happening at Skippy's.
Merry and blessed Christmas to all on the porch!
Kristen,
What are you afraid of? I mean it isn't like he is walking around with a bottle of sake in his hand and nothing but a Kimono, singing bad holiday carols in Japanese (Oh Skippy I have seen the holiday party video from CAG-5 Officers offical party, when one of my DH's was but a nugget JO in the Gauntlets). Besides you nice Catholic girls need something to give you a Christmas goose early. :)
It really is beautiful, isn't it?
I forget how many handcuff keys I have. Lets see, 2 come with each set of cuffs, so thats 8, I have a nice streamlight Cuffmate, with an LED built into the key on each set of keys, so that's another two, extras to go with my leathers, and the one that looks like a wee small PR-24 nightstck, I bet I have close to two dozen handcuff keys.
Kristen, it's really rather tame. Pirate... counting myself in with the Kristens of the world... we really do have our place. Her husband could tromp across the Hindu Kush or circle the bottom of the ocean for 5 years running and he'd never once have to worry about Jodie.
That's worth more than gold to some guys....
Merry Christmas, Kristen. :)
Way more. Pearls & rubies too. Then there's the homecomings and nth honeymoon. 41 and counting, it all works fine....Priceless.
Merry Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year to all.
Gramps and CincHouse.
Awww... that's so sweet! I wanna find a man like you, GBW!
Merry christmas everyone!
I did click, and the first thing I thought of was "Kristen won't like this!"
DB: Be careful what you wish for. CincHouse has a very firm grip on the reins and knows when the grumpy old rogue elephant wants a half dozen watermelons and a scratch behind the ears, and when he wants to gore something or stomp it. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Management requires strong nerves, agility and strength. The critter is still half feral. Still, he has his uses...
メーリ クーリスマス!
I was only at the party to keep up apperances! :-D
Whoa....
I got a pair of fuzzy cuffs just like that!
It scares me that ya'll knowall these details. My innocence ruined!
