Well the upUS Navy stopped using Lead Base Oaint in 1996, which would have made Cdr. Michael William Brannon, USN the first of the post 1996 Rust Navy Commanding Officers or Cdr. Charles Ferguson...

How about for the period actually under discussion in the article? When that picture was taken. I'm guessing the ship didn't look like that when it came out of the builder's yard, so maybe that guy...

Hmmmm, this should be a hoot! I wonder how many will crash this party. I wonder if right now, they are frantically trying to find a new conference phone number. I love that someone of that command "leaded" it to you. Ha! I wonder if the Diversity Counsil likes diversity of ideas. You know, I hear, it makes us stronger and mo' betta'.
Wonder how much is in their budget and where they are going to spend the money.

False diversity as grasped by the current crop of hacks is never having to apologize for organizational infused discrimination and sectarianism. This false diversity dribble is legalized discrimination hidden behind a nice sounding name. Using a buzzword to cover and hide the truth is a common political diversion and deception used to manipulate gullible people.
Jeez, another OS.
Not sure I'd want to deal with "Ms. Grizzle" for any reason, let alone a diversity award!
Navy and big business - all the same when it comes to diversity. Have to have our council member in the spotlight, make sure we're representative, in a companies case ensure our GLBT representation. Rarely a white male, much less a disabled vet in there. Bottom line? Waste of money and time, but someone has to kneel at d-altar.
Good on you for sharing the pain of what a real iife stupidity agenda looks like.
