I kept hoping that Kitty would knock the darn thing off the table along with the coffee cup. :-D
Heh.... Oh Nooos! Not the Coffee! Anything but the coffee!
That's hysterical! And yes, I still love my iPad :)
I see it as an over-engineered and expensive drink coaster.
But then, I'm not any fan of Steve Jobs. ;)
Adorable! Poor kitty brain--seeing/hearing the results, but no tactile changesto accompany it. Very confusing! lol
Tim, you're AFU. Drink coasters are usually somewhat absorbent. ;) That being said, I also can't see any potential for the current iPad, it's totally a status toy for people with more money than sense, but having played with one in Best Buy data entry isn't as terrible as I imagined. I wouldn't want to compose the Great American Novel on it, but it's more than adequate for quick notes. In fact something like this, but far more rugged would be ideal for taking logs. In short, just like the iPod and iPhone wait 5 years and a couple of generations and they might have something useful.
So it is useful for something! A $600 cat toy!
Looks to me like the cat is simply trying to bury the thing?
Will he be so happy after the cat puts it on the "litter box" setting?
At the 1:30 mark, the cat looks up with eyes that say, "Ok. You need to quit f#$^&ing with my head human." Poor thing almost looks like her feelings are hurt.
Cats hate getting mocked.
Bet she walked away with her tail flicking contemptuously, while plotting devious deeds.
Who was it... The Presidnet (Or, do they have a Prime Minister?) of Norway ran his country form his ipad?
I am sure the MSM meant answered email, by 'running his country'.
HATERS! Not running the country on mine but it was useful last weekend at the milBlog conference. Don't have an iPhone and was liking to upgrade my iPod, so this kind of did both for me. Plus I can download books from iBooks and Kindle, and movies, etc.
HA! I can take a good ribbing.
Was kinda hoping the iCat would take an iLeak on the iPad.
DirtyBlueshirt - You're jealous! LOL I played with Mary's iPad down at the Milblog and it was awesome. Mary didn't get to use it much....people kept taking it out of her hands! It was definitely a hit with that crowd.
The way I read it, the cat quite intelligently reasoned that when something moved down past the bottom (say) bezel, it should come out. Since it didn't, one needed to dig it out. QED (cat style)!
One thing I noticed was the rather audible sound of claws hitting the screen. Unless kitty was declawed, that's some truly tuff covering, there. Well done, Apple. ;)
