One of the poster children for term limits, Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) is about to outdo the damage to our nation by Senator Frank Church (D-ID).
Via WaPo's Michael Gerson;
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the outgoing chair of the committee, was thought to be more responsible. But her legacy may be a massive dump of intelligence details useful to the enemy in a time of war. And she knows the likely results. Secretary of State John Kerry expressed the concerns of allies about increased violence. A National Intelligence Council report warned of threats to embassies, installations and individuals, and explored how partners would react to the disclosure.After fighting the good fight to keep in under wraps, the Democrat controlled Senate (do you see a trend here) is going to release their biased, partisan, and agenda driven report on the CIA soon.
...
So why has Feinstein donned her Guy Fawkes mask? Tension with the CIA? Simple stubbornness? The main reason, I suspect, is different. Democrats who approved of enhanced interrogation at the time (such as Feinstein) must now construct an elaborate fantasy world in which they were not knowledgeable and supportive. They postulate a new reality in which they were innocent and deceived — requiring a conspiracy from three former CIA directors, three former deputy directors and hundreds of others.
Occam would indicate a different answer: guilt, hypocrisy and betrayal.
None of this stuff is “new” and as we will see, what is stated as fact is going to be either just opinion or easily disproven by fact.
None of that will matter though – this will encourage and inflame our enemies. It will make things difficult on our friends. It will push those on the fence over to the other side.
People will unnecessarily die and be maimed. This blood will be on the hands of Feinstein, Reid and the rest of the rump Democrat caucus in the Senate.
Make no mistake, this is an unforced error. While we still have forces on the ground, our own Senate is going to unnecessarily join in the INFO OPS and PSYOPS campaign against their own nation?
Why? There are a few theories out there. One is that Feinstein wants to get back at the CIA for their keeping an eye on the Senate a little more than they should. Second is that Feinstein wants to make a big splash as she heads out the door. What ties it all together is that the Democrats are about to be out of power in the Senate – and so they will make a mess others will have to clean up.
The best way to understand this is simply to remember Salamander’s favorite fable; Scorpion and Frog.
A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and theJust as it was expected that instead of supporting its nation at war, the Democrats would decide after a year to do a 180 and politicize it for personal gain – so one would expect that at their core, the left wing of the Democrat party simply hates its own nation more than it desires to fight and win the conflicts it is in.
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The
frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."
The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"
Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."
I think that Proverbs 26:11 comes in to play here as well;
As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly.
Bottom Line: they can do it. They will do it. That blood is all on their hands. I hope they sleep well at night.
Never wonder why so many in the CIA and DOD hold the left in contempt. Every decade or so they remind us why we need to; they get us killed.

So now anyone to the left of CIA torture is bad for 'Murica now? Boo-hoo! Get over your self and your self righteous false patriotism. To those who support this type of un-lawful activity PLEASE do not deploy overseas with my flag on your uniform. Your bloodlust should not be an American export.
Thank you Obama and the Senate for this report.
