USS GUARDIAN: hung, drawn, & quartered

Video of the plan for taking GUARDIAN apart.

This is so very strange. They do realize all the damage to the reefs in that part of the world during WWII, right? Sigh.

The anti-intellectual, political, and ahistorical warping of the discussion of options about this have just been sad to see.

this never should have happened. That boat went bow aground, but due to a lack of salvage response, it was pushed sideways onto the reef, where the real damage occurred. Navy Salvage has been gutted by NECC, leaving no quick response capability in cases such as this. This ship should not have been lost.

It's remarkable to go to see this web page and reading the views of all mates about this article, while I am also keen of getting know-how.
