It would be OK, if the rest of us weren't sitting back in coach.  So down we go.  Only saving grace is we don't have cockpit cam.

Dear CDR, please cancel my subscription to "Sunday Funnies".

What with my pick up wont run, 'm dog died, the wife came back, my co-workers er blasting RAP music at me all day, the doc says I gotta cut out salts, fats, sweets, my prostate's the size of a cantalope, the job says I'm under threat of "downsizing", three (count em!3!) exwives are hounding me fer alimony so they can go on vacations with their boyfriends, NFL's still out..........

I have enough misery.  I come here on Sunday mornings for a little escape...a smile, a chortle, a chuckle...maybe even a guffaw or two.....

And all I get is REALITY.

repeat after me,   INFLATION IS OUR FRIEND.

(haven't you always wanted to pay $47,000 for a used Honda Civic ?    or $695,000 for a tiny 38 yr old track home in a run-down neighborhood ?)

be positive about our country's future, and accept the inevitable,

USA's new mantra,     " INFLATION IS OUR FRIEND".

I am going to try some personal "quantitative easing" and start printing twenties in my basement.

Dammit.  The debt collectors didn't buy the "deficit spending" plan of mine, either.

Reminds me of a skit the last time Saturday Night Live was funny...  a guy watching the news on the tv in Jet Blue while it was coming in for a hard landing.  He's freaking out as he's watching the plane he's on on the news, and everyone else on the plane is oblivious.  It was really rather funny.

  14. You'd better do a cost analysis first...you may find each bill costs $25 to produce! :)
