Miley Cyrus - just about lost ...

We've covered her long, slow decent into the sadly predictable path that the late Patrick Swayze warned about: if you don't watch out - Hollywood will turn you into a whore.

If you want to see something sad - see what they have a 16-yr old and a 17-yr old doing.

Another reason why I would never suggest to any parent to wish fame on their child.

BTW - this all goes on her father BTW. I hope he enjoys the money.

I can see that everyone is pretty clueless at this party and no one seems to really care about her age or his... they are comfortably numb, or plain ole stupid!

She is sleeping her way through the director lists.... a shame.. but then again I never thought she had any talent either, just like her Dad.

Her Dad is in league with the Devil already...how else could one explain Acky Breaky Heart making money, much less making someone famous?

I think it was someone over at Big Hollywood who basically said that what we are seeing now is who she actually is.  She played the Disney game when it was to her benefit and she made nice with the Nashville crowd when it was to her benefit. But it seems the truth is that neither her dad nor she really likes the Nashville scene or the values of the majority of the Nashville fans.  She would be more comfortable touring with the Dixie Chicks than with Carrie Underwood.

What's her new song?  "Here's your one chance, Fancy, don't let me down?"

    Or is that Billy's song?

    Trashy.

She's gotta strut the lady bits, because she sure doesn't have the voice to go the distance.

How soon we've forgotten Britney Spears, who came up in the industry much the same way.

I watched some of Miley Cyrus' performance the other night and just shook my head...not surprised however.

the shows have the people who are watching them - you know, supply/demand balance...

How sad.  Her life is headed for being the same train wreck as Lindsey Lohan's and Britney Spears'.  When I see parents like those, I'm even more grateful for the ones that God gave me.

When I first saw the "Miley pole-dancing" photo, I actually thought it was Lindsay Lohan. My next reaction was "damn, she's hot." Hey, she's in her early 20s now, right? That's allowed. :)

Then I read that it was actually Miley Cyrus, well... I can't describe my reaction. Mortified might be a good first approximation.

Her performance on DWTS was pretty horrid too. The funny thing is that there are parents out there that actually make a distinction between Miley and Hannah. I can't honestly see that happening much longer.
