I second the Winds of War. Both Winds and War and Rememberence were fantastic. I am wrapping up the W & R miniseries on DVD as we speak. great book, good movie.
Mr. T-I have a brief confession. When I was a junior officer, I always had Pug Henry in the back of my mind as an example of how a Naval Officer should act
Justin North is an absolutely stand-up guy and a superb leader. I have had the privlege of being one of his plebes last year. He was 100% what this nation needs

ReplyDeleteI concur with the "Winds of War." (I haven't read the rest, so no opinion). If you don't have time for the book, the miniseries was excellent.
