Well done, P.O. Now, maybe we can court martial the convening authority for screwing around with your life?

Very good news.  Too bad this had to see the light of day.  Move along, nothing to see. Continue to find bad guys and show them the error of thier ways.

Anyone who is looking to jump in and say "See?  The system worked!" needs to sit in this young man's chair for a while.  That this was handled in this manner is despicable and a stain upon everyone whose efforts got it to this point.  They ought to be ashamed, and certainly made to walk combat patrols in Helmand until further notice or dead, whichever comes first.

  5. I agree - this poor guy's life has been turned upside down. How can he have any faith in the Navy after what he has been put through? We've lost a good SEAL and sent out a loud signal that we eat our young.

MTH is correct.  From my view in the cheap seats this was driven by political cowardice and ego.  This never should have seen the light of day.
