Congress goes Salamander

Behold the fusillade of WIN by Rep. Kelly (R-PA).

That is the kind of Representative our founders wanted.
"The house of representatives... can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as the great mass of society. This has always been deemed one of the strongest bonds by which human policy can connect the rulers and the people together. It creates between them that communion of interest, and sympathy of sentiments, of which few governments have furnished examples; but without which every government degenerates into tyranny." - Federalist Papers, No. 57, February 19, 1788; James Madison
Nothing more needs to be said.

A Jerry Mcguire moment.  Wonder if anyone was listening.

Wow.  Your timing is great.  You have no idea how perfectly helpful that quote is for a project I'm on.

It's a "work thing," MidMom...   this was an interesting way of stating something I was researching.

    One can only hope.

Either we look on this as the start of reality and a correction or we look at this as the hopeless whistling past the graveyard.....

    Our choice.

Pretty straight talk.  Probably too direct and simple for the numb skulls in Congress.

Another one to check out is Thaddeus McCotter. I'm a little biased because I went to school with him, but he's a solid, no-nonsense conservative.

We added some really good members of Congress in 2010.  I'm hoping that we'll add enough more next year to really start rolling back our leviathan government.  Oh please God.
