Diversity Thursday

Really, the intellectual damage the Diversity Cult has inflicted on the Navy is beyond parody. You can win Bu11sh1t Bingo in the first two paragraphs along. The Onion could not do better. It is almost as bad as this blog's mission statement at the top of the page.

THROUGHOUT OUR FORCE AND ACROSS OUR COUNTRY AND THE GLOBE OUR RESERVE FORCE EMPHASIZES THE CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING A ROBUST DIVERSITY PROGRAM TO SUPPORT THE NAVY TOTAL FORCE OF THE FUTURE. PER REF A, CONTINUING TO PROACTIVELY STRESS ORGANIZATIONAL DIVERSITY REMAINS A TOP PRIORITY THROUGHOUT OUR NAVY AND IS A KEY ENABLER FOR OUR SUCCESS AS A GLOBAL FORCE FOR GOOD. ATTRACTING, RECRUITING, TRAINING AND RETAINING A DIVERSE, VERSATILE NAVY WORKFORCE IS CRITICAL TO ACHIEVING OUR CHIEF OF

EQUALLY IMPORTANT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO ACHIEVE BY 2037 THE CNO'S VISION OF A FLAG WARDROOM THAT MORE CLOSELY REFLECTS THE DIVERSITY OF THE NATION. DIVERSITY IS A STRATEGIC IMPERATIVE VITAL TO THE FUTURE OF THE NAVY RESERVE. IT IS MORE THAN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, RACE, GENDER, OR RELIGION.     I had dinner last night with a naval officer who was raised by a seriously screwed up mother. This officer knows about food stamps, living in ghettos in various parts of the country, lack of food, electricity and even water (from overdue utility bills), and is quite familiar with the effects of drugs and prostitution on others.  The officer started out enlisted then went to college, and has since held command at sea.

    But as a white male, this officer is not diverse and so obviously has no "different skills talents and experiences" to bring to bear as a leader in creating an "evironment of excellence." /sarcasm

In 1971 Edward L King wrote a searing indictment of the Army and its' orgizational disarray and PC head-in-the-sand approach to the "Black Power" movement then under a full head of steam entitled: "The Death of the Army: A Pre-Mortum." You, CDR Sal, are simply writing a companion work for the Navy--only in serial episodic form.

    Must be some sort of paradigm shift in world affairs occured since 2006:

    The flag who signed this is one who obviously is unsuited for any command billet in a dangerous world where we have real enemies and are actually at war. 

    Fire the body, abolish the billet.  Dump the staff and their billets while you are at it.

    Whenever a leftist calls someone a racist it is conclusive proof he has lost the argument.  We need to stop being afraid of that charge and simply point out that the one who hurls it has nothing of consequence to say.  Usually they themselves are obsessed with race, are using it as a weapon, and are very angry they have been caught at it.
