But does that stop anyone? Surely not. O-5's in the pentagon just do what they are told. They do not think for themselves. I am summarily unimpressed. Neigh, it takes civilians, contractors and O-6's and above to think for themselves. Don't get me wrong, a lot of Captains are happy to carry the water and not think twice. It has just been my jaded experience that there is nothing more dangerous than an O-4/O-5 awaiting a selection board, armed with dualies and briefs to argue why bad ideas aren't.
